supporting First responders

Blue Thunder is a peer-based training program that relies on a variety of educational and experiential activities for the purpose of teaching life skills, increasing community integration and involvement, and promoting optimal physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual health.  Our organization is made up of first responders that are helping other first responders with Stress and PTSD.

We will offer first responders a place to relax in a stress-ree environment and talk peer to peer with our team members that are first responders, who have beein in the same situation or a situation of their own.

What is unique about this program is that it will be conducted on a boat/vessel so that the guest will not feel enclosed, giving them a chance to connect with nature.  The program will be extended to their family members along with the first responder.  Whatever will give them a situation they feel most comfortable in.  

When not being used for its primary purpose, the vessel can be used as a support search and rescue vehicle.  Proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the vessel and equipment, the comfort of our visiting first responders, and to fulfill our programs.
